Molecular Sieve Type 4A is a versatile desiccant known for its ability to adsorb a range of molecules, including water, larger organic compounds, and some gases. With a pore size of approximately 4 angstroms, the sodium form of Type 4A zeolite effectively separates molecules based on their size, making it an essential material in various industrial and commercial applications. 4A molecular sieve can also adsorb molecules such as oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and straight chain hydrocarbons.
